HOLD (ek) Tan Camouflage Luftwaffe M40 Helmet
$1,375.00
This helmet shows a lot of wear and hard service use, likely in WWII Germany’s ‘Southern Front’ theater of operations (this includes the general areas of North Africa, Sicily and Italy. The helmet consists of a Q62 M40 shell, heat lot number DN156. The Luftwaffe blue-grey factory finish is covered with a mustard yellow ordinance tan camouflage scheme. Both of these finishes show heavy wear at the top 1/3 of the helmet. The Luftwaffe adler is visible on the left side underneath the camo finish. The liner and strap are original to the helmet and unaltered, showing use and wear commensurate with the rest of the helmet. An untouched example for the Southern Front display.
