This beautiful Waffenrock was custom tailored for an unterofficer in Gebergsjäger rgt. 98. This is a tailor made tunic with a Munich tailors label (many Bavarian youth flocked to the GBJ units). The cuff litzen is in the expensive officer style, while the eagle, shoulder boards and collar tabs are done in the less expensive standard type. This is not an unusual combination to see the mixture of officer and NCO quaity, especially from a tailor. The tunic is extensively marked numerous times inside the tunic to the 98th GBJ Rgt.
