RESERVED (jc) Striking, Relic Double Runic M35 SS Helmet With Cover Clips
We recently obtained a couple of Relic helmets from an older collection source, that had some interesting and rare examples. This helmet is from an Eastern front bunker site and is fairly well preserved. It has no visible markings and appears to be a size 62. There are CA Pocher runic shields on each side, a tradition only known to be attributed to Germania regiment and Wiking Division, worn by the Finns. The helmet retains the aluminum clips, from a long gone camouflage cover. They are calcified to the helmet rim. To have an example like this from a battlefield position is extraordinary, and provides another data point in the quest for knowledge regarding these rare Double Runic SS helmets. COA accompanies.
