Striking Luftwaffe M42 Sand Camo Helmet

This Luft sand camo helmet features a thick sand finish incorporated with ordinance tan and grass green. I have handled two other nearly identical Luft camos, with the exception that they did not have sand mixed into the camo. This helmet is an EF66 #1839, with a service used but strong condition liner. The paint is 90+% intact. Overall service use level would be medium. Full disclosure: one of the liner retaining rivets shows a loose tongue, and another shows a wobble, suggesting it may have been adjusted or removed at one point. None of the pins show recent patina disturbance, so I can only conjecture it was likely a wartime period adjustment. Overall a great camo, fine for the southern front LW display. COA accompanies.
