This is a superb example of a Waffen-SS Panzer enlisted M43 cap. The cap body is good quality German wool, with imitation silk lining bearing the maker’s mark and size 57 stamp. The skull is hand applied and the eagle machine sewn; all correct and unmolested. The pull tabs are present, and this example features the thin edge of buckram just visible along the turn-ins of the inner scallop. The frontal closure is two button, with zinc silver wash buttons. A textbook example, with fine display cache for the panzer collection. COA accompanies.
