SOLD (dn)Sharp Camo Paratrooper FJ HelmetSKU:
Here is a fine example of a German M38 Luftwaffe paratrooper helmet, manufactured by ET, in the shell size 71 and liner size 61. The heat lot number is 1783. The helmet is of the early spanner bolt type construction with the 1940 style straps marked PRYM. The liner and straps are in very good serviceable condition, showing light service use. The outer finish of the helmet is camouflaged in ordinance tan, grass green, and brick red — and resembles a camouflage pattern of a similar helmet that was brought back from the Dutch theater of operations during 1944. The camouflage paint is thick, and covers any sign of the Luftwaffe eagle decal, which would be factory applied to the left side of the helmet. Overall the condition is excellent, with mild service use and some wear to the camo finish. The camo finish itself is a strong 90% plus. Helmets like this were worn in combat by Paratroopers, from the Southern Russian front, to the Italian front, to the Western front. COA accompanies.
