This is a nice textbook example of an M34 medium duty helmet, most famously worn by the dreaded SD in cities and operating in the rear areas behind the front lines. Quantities of these were also issued to KZ guard staff, as seen in numerous pictures. This helmet and some other German items was reportedly handed over to a storage company owner as collateral by a German family who had not paid their storage bill for some time. Basically a woodwork example, and certainly untouched. It is an Edelstahl make, with expected CA Pocher decals. A nice example, very historic holocaust memorabilia. COA accompanies sale.
