Great condition CKL M42s are becoming harder to find. This one rates a very good plus–to excellent, inside and out, with the darker green ET schiefergrau (more like the M40 color and texture), with a classic ET runic shield, common stacking ring and all the characteristics we like to see in these. The liner is a great condition size 59 marked and the chinstrap is dated ’42. The heat lot number is difficult to see but appears to be 32?28. A killer SS helmet in a desirable larger size.
