This is by far the finest condition and best marked canteen ring I have handled in the last several years. It is nearly mint and probably not worn very much by the soldier. It’s a beautiful example of the popular style of ring that could be purchased at the canteen facility at SS barracks. There were known to have been some army users of these as well, but not as prolific as the SS. Priced reasonably considering condition and rarity. Silver content is fairly high in this one as well.
