This is an outstanding example of a KM M35 (not a reissue) single decal in the M40 style finish and configuration. The helmet has been in one collection for 30 years. It consists of an SE66, #4976, listed in the Ice reference. The paint and decal are excellent and over 95% present. The liner is golden brown and in excellent, serviceable condition, with signs of some treatment to the leather at some time in the past. The strap and string are original to the helmet. The collector / consignor reports: “I have owned this piece for 30 years. Liner has never been out. The build flaw is a WW2 built error, definitely.” An excellent example, COA accompanies.
