This is a rare size 60,NS Luftwaffe M35 Double Decal helmet, #D1704. The helmet is full tan, with very strong evidence of being worn in a hot climate, based on the characteristics of the paint and decals. The DAK desert helmets I have handled show this hallmark characteristic. The shields are somewhat visible under the crackled paint, and the liner is fully intact showing heavy service wear. The strap is not present. Overall a fine early DAK specimen, for the LW DAK display. COA accompanies.
