SOLD (ac) Sharp Luftwaffe M40 ‘Sudfront’ Tan Camouflage Helmet
This is an outstanding, straight up example of a tan camo “Southern Front” Luftwaffe helmet, DAK or Italian areas of operations. The helmet is an M40 ET66, heat lot #707, with a full 96% tan camo finish atop the original factory finish. The Luftwaffe adler is visible on the left side, with crazing highlighting it, likely from intense heat exposure. The overall condition is combat service used, with no alteration of any of the components–this is the 1945 bringback condition. This fine piece would be a fine addition to a camo or south front aficionado’s collection. COA accompanies.
