This is a sharp late war Waffen-SS camo helmet, no-decal Q66, marked in the rear skirt. There are Luftwaffe helmets nearby this heat lot number range, but the paint color is the Quist feldgrau / schiefergrau shade, not luft. There is also a rank and surname rendered in paint in the rear skirt, named to an “Usha. Niemeir.” The paint scheme is predominantly brick red and grass green, and closely matches another very similar SS camo late war piece that still retains its cover. The liner has had treatment in the past, but is free of any residue. Chinstrap is missing. A great SS camo example. COA of course accompanies.
