This is a great example of a Heer Infantry officer’s visor cap, with bullion insignia. The cap band is the Heer green color, with a finer quality doeskin wool upper, piped in white for Infantry. The lining is imitation silk in lime green, and bears a tailor’s label with the Pekuro style motto “stirndrukfrei” and the velvet welt between the sweatband and the cap body. The officer’s name is written in the still-intact nametag. A decent example of the Heer Infantry visor.
