HOLD (jm) Sharp Heer Gebirgsjaeger Lieutenant Tunic

This outstanding piece is a Heer 1LT who served in the DAK, then repurposed his 1941 dated tunic for use in service as a Gebirgsjaeger Officer. The tunic features his flatwire “Afrikakorps” cufftitle on the lower right sleeve, above which is the Heer Gebirgs emblem. The slip-on boards feature a gilt pip and green piping, signifying first lieutenant of mountain troops. The collar tabs are untouched period applied GJ officer piped bullion examples, accompanied by a bullion officer’s Heer breast eagle. The whole outfit is in very lightly service-used condition and will be an exceptionally fine addition to the Heer collection. COA accompanies.
