RESERVED (cmac) Sharp EF M42 Waffen-SS Helmet
This is a fine example of the EF66 M42, #0909(?) Waffen-SS helmet, featuring the ET pattern SS runic shield. The finish and condition on the outside are outstanding, with a full shield and some areas of light patina. The interior shows a ‘likely catastrophic’ end to the wearer’s combat service, with the leather portion of the liner gone and a lot of patina on the interior. A fine example for the price nonetheless, COA accompanies.
