This Q64 M35 Waffen-SS helmet shows very extensive wear, to the paint, decals, liner and strap. Nothing was spared from the hard conditions of constant use. The liner shows pulling and warping but is unmolested. The decals are CA Pochers, placed atop where it appears Q decals were once present, based on some very faint lacquer outlines that still remain. The leather may have been treated long ago, or that may be extensive sweat darkening–it is not moist or oily to the touch. A ruggedly handsome example of a real combat piece. COA accompanies.
