Here is a solid example of a well-service worn SS erbsentarn M43 tunic. The jacket still bears vibrant colors, but shows much use and some minor tatters to sleeve end areas and the bandage pocket. The sleeve eagle was removed, possibly at time of capture, judging by the hole next to the stitch line. This would be an excellent tunic for a Normandy or later Waffen-SS combat display.
