SOLD (ad) Outstanding Waffen-SS NCO Visor Cap, Named

SKU: UaMSvis1

This visor cap is circa 1940 and features the earlier orange chintz lining material, NCO quality cap band, and whipcord wool body–all piped in white. The insignia appear completely untouched and feature a feinzinc and silver wash Deschler skull and matching condition (Assmann?) eagle. The chin cord is present and the visor shows the normal age crazing to the lustrous finish. The mostly intact interior celluloid sweat shield carries a property tag named to the wearer. The various views show the state of the lining and the unbent prongs of the skull and eagle. Overall a great, lightly service used example for the collection. COA accompanies.
