Outstanding SS Gebirgsjaeger Cap “Bergmutze”
This cap is a sharp example of an SS Bergmutze specially designed for Mountain troops. It is not an M 43 cap, but rather by design is the higher peak shorter bill style, characteristic of the mountain troop cap. The condition is excellent with a black smooth cotton lining and leatherette sweatband. Single button front closure finishes the design. The cap has a Bevo trapezoid Insignia on the front and a Edelweiss on the side, both machine stitched. A fine example and hard to upgrade.
