This is a fine, service used Waffen-SS M35 in its original factory finish. The maker is ET, shell size 66. The heat lot number 4167 places production likely mid 1939. The shields are the classic CA Pochers, extensively used by ET during the 1939 period. The liner is untouched and in fine, light golden brown condition. The chinstrap is original to the helmet. The overall finish shows tiny flecks of old parade polish, plus light, uniform wear from whitewash application and removal, which fades the lacquer and adds wear to the paint and decals. These helmets took a bit of use during their service lives. Overall this is a fine addition to the SS or general helmet collection and full COA accompanies.
