(w.p.)Outstanding Heer Pionier M35, Normandy Camouflage Helmet

This is a very fine example of the classic Normandy Camouflage scheme, applied atop an SE62 M35, #3484. Published in the Ice reference, the helmet shows evidence of once having had wire on it, traces of which can be seen in the paint. The decals are present under the finish. The supple, golden brown liner and original strap (shortened) show service use and moderate wear. Liner is tight in position with original drawstring & retaining pins undisturbed. The dome of the helmet bears a Pionier (combat engineer) unit designation, ink stamped. Overall this is a vibrant, handsome looking Heer camo, worthy of the best helmet collection. COA accompanies.
