Outstanding Early Spanner FJ Paratrooper Helmet
This is a fine example of the Luftwaffe Paratrooper helmet of the early war period– the ones they jumped in. The features are all fine; a high degree of the rough texture finish (with light patina in some areas), full Luft Adler, un-turned spanners, and complete liner in excellent condition. The straps are complete, but show some frailty. The markings are clear and there is a rank and name inscribed in the liner. The Surname appears to be ‘Brunner.’ The rank may be the abbreviation for ‘Stabsgefreiter,’ but is difficult to see clearly. A great helmet, not many this nice are lying around. COA accompanies.
