Nice Cased WWI Iron Cross 1st Class, K.A.G.

This is a nice example of a cased WWI  Iron Cross 1st Class, from the maker KAG. This maker interestingly features a sand cast iron core to its crosses, which sometimes bear a small hairline crack to the left or right of the ‘W’. Interesting features on an early War Iron Cross. Excellent condition overall.
