SOLD (vr) M42 No Decal Heer Combat Helmet-KIA

SKU: TMks3

$675.00

This helmet is a sharp, named example of a later war combat helmet, CKL?64, lot number 3592. It features a pigskin liner system, and typical late schiefergrau finish. There is a projectile hit to the front at eyebrow level, which pierced the metal and collapsed the liner band inward about 1/2 inch. By observing the overall liner coloration, I am led to conclude that Stabsgefreiter Kordes likely didn’t survive the impact. A real combat trophy that is well-named and in handsome overall condition. COA accompanies.
