M40 SD Luftwaffe Helmet by Quist size 62/lot number DN156. This helmet was recently acquired from an estate and is a true woodwork helmet featuring a nice exterior finish with a striking yellow toned 98 percent Adler decal. The helmet appears to have multiple paint finishes with tan desert/mediterranean camo peaking through multiple areas underneath finishing with an overspray that does show wear consistent with surface use. Helmet retains its untouched liner along with chinstrap that has seperated.  Very nice M40 for collection. COA accompanies.
