M35 Woodchip Camo Helmet

This is an SE62 M35, camouflaged in a rough sawdust texture, named to a Heer gefreiter ‘Heinrich.’  The liner and chinstrap are serviceable condition and untouched original to the helmet. An interesting feature is the carrying D-ring, fastened in the rear of the liner band.  Photographic record indicates many soldiers carried their helmets either buy the strap or buy some type of fastener on very equipment or even their vehicles during the early stages of the war. An outstanding combat helmet, COA accompanies.
