This outstanding cap is an example of an enlisted schiffchen marked to the “Hermann Goring” division. The cap consists of the correct dark blue-black colored wool, lined in grey imitation silk and badged in the correct luftwaffe panzer version of machine embroidered adler and roundel. They are hand applied. The lining is nicely unit marked and dated. The consignor reports the cap was obtained some years ago from the prestigious Grenadier Militaria.
