This is a nice example of a ckl66 #2898 M24 Luftwaffe Helmet. The helmet shows a lot of exterior wear, mainly associated with the abrasive effect of removing one or more coatings of whitewash during its use. The luft adler remains a high 90s percentile of decal overall, with just a haze patina from the white finishes. The liner appears untouched original to the helmet and is in very good condition overall, with only light wear and age. The strap is decent as well. Overall a good combat piece. The liner string is a replacement lace, possibly period but unsure. The consignor reportedly obtained this helmet from the e-stand previously. COA accompanies.
