Killer Combat Police M40, Wire Camo
This is a rare configuration of a combat police helmet, given that it has a bailing wire basket for camouflage purposes. The helmet itself is a Q64 M40, heat lot number T3278, both marked in the back. The liner is untouched original to the helmet, showing medium to heavy field service wear. The decals and paint show commensurate wear and wire gouge marks are present around the helmet at points where it was installed or rubbed against. The patina on the wire is perfectly undisturbed. Given the amount of use the helmet has seen, plus being camouflaged, suggests a lot of combat usage, likely against resistance and partisan elements. COA accompanies.
