This interesting helmet shows signs of having been winter whitewashed at one time, as well as used either on a flight line, or in some tactical capacity. The helmet is a typical Q66 Luftwaffe M40, with single Luft adler on the left side. Heat lot #1140. The pictures show the remnants of the whitewash, and the characteristics of the inch wide strip running from the front to the rear, over the top. A unique, untouched piece with a lot of salty, wartime cache. COA accompanies.
