This is a beautiful example of a Q64 M40 Waffen-SS helmet, with strong, classic Q pattern decal and paint, and a liner showing hard use and age. The helmet itself is fine inside and out. The liner shows blood staining which likely contributed to its weakening. The helmet originates from an All-Veteran collection from the northeast US, and was reportedly in the same collection since the 1960s. (No veteran information survives.) Examples of SS M40 helmets like this are becoming difficult to find, and this helmet presents exceptionally well overall. COA accompanies.
