Fine, Mint Heer Pionier NCO Visor Cap

This cap is a beautiful Clemens Wagner piece, produced for issue by the Kleiderkasse or ‘clothing counter’ standard issue facility for Heer supply. (An SS NCO listed on this site is also Kleiderkasse, but bears the ‘Willi Sprengpfeil’ logo, similarly under the sweatband–same practice as this). This cap features black piping for engineer (pionier), with feldgrau body and bottle green cap band. The insignia are the standard quality aluminum cockade and eagle, beautiful and mint. The chinstrap and visor show very little age wear. The interior is the late ’30s orange chintz, size marked and also bearing a unit or person’s name stamp, which is mostly illegible. The cap is size marked 55. The sweat shield is fully intact and minty. Overall a great piece for the Heer collection. COA accompanies.
