For the first time in a while I ran across one of these DD Polizei M34 helmets, made by Edelstahl. This helmet features the lighter feldgrau parade finish characteristic of these helmets. The liner is a three-pad style, uncharacteristic of these, and slightly rarer configuration. The Sicherheitsdienst (SD) wore the same helmet, with SS decals either in proper configuration, or reversed. There are many period pictures of these helmets in use, mainly in rear area duty during the invasion of Russia and going forward. A fine specimen, COA accompanies.
