This is a beautiful example of an NCO visor cap for Luftwaffe, piped in white for the “HG” regiment, which was the forerunner to the Fallschirm-Panzer Division ,,Hermann Göring.” The cap is the late ’30s quality LW blue-grey wool, with orange chintz interior, finished with a leatherette sweatband. The unit marking is present near where the sweat shield was formerly present. Showing light service use, this cap is an outstanding addition to the Luft HG display. COA accompanies.
