This old pikelhaube originates from an old Pennsylvania collection and has a lot of character. The consignor reports that it was part of a larger group of items that had been collected by an individual over many decades. The helmet shows many unit and other markings, and reflects the age and patina of steady, long term service use. Chinstrap is a reproduction. A fine item for the WWI and pre-WWI collection.
