Exquisite Art Deco Military Sculpture

This is a military Aviation related sculpture by the famous sculptor Franz Iffland of Berlin. Included is the link to his Wikipedia file and also a screen capture of that file for quick reference.  As a piece of sculpture this Eagle is exquisite in its execution and the marble base is nicely proportioned to the design overall. There is a military crown and wing emblem on the front of the base, denoting a possible German or Austrian(?) air force related military connection. It is not Nazi period, as Iffland died just after Hitler’s rise to power. A very interesting and beautiful piece of history for the sculpture collection. Dimensions are approximately 13  1/2in tall, by 12in wide.
