RESERVED (gh) Excellent SS Panzer M43 Cap

This is a sharp Waffen-SS Panzer M43 cap, manufactured in KL Dachau circa 1944-45. This cap, like so many others, was a GI bringback souvenir obtained during the liberation of the camp and subsequent looting of the several subsidiary camp / factories in the Dachau / West-Munich area. The cap features the typical thin black wool and plastic button construction, with expected embroidered trapezoid insignia, machine applied. The lining material is the blue-grey herringbone cotton, with simply the size marking present. The cardboard visor stiffener, cracked, is in the correct exposed configuration. COA accompanies.
