SS Division ,Nord’ was formed mid-war and was manned with many Totenkopf members in its leadership and nco ranks. This unit lineage is probably best illustrated in Tran’s excellent book on Totenkopf. This disc is well stamped and marked to the 45th kp. nebel, or smoke replacement company, a fairly rare example given this would be a very small unit within Nord. Excellent example.
