This is an excellent Japanese WWII period NCO sword. The condition overall is very good, with an excellent blade. The sword is offered along with this veteran bringback prayer flag, which itself is an outstanding artifact of the Pacific campaigns. The flag was obtained separately by the consignor, and is not a ‘grouping’ with the sword. Overall a great ensemble for the WWII Pacific collection.
