This Heer M40 is an EF64, #?2434, with schiefergrau finish and single Heer adler. The liner shows service wear, and the finish shows light patina, with crazing to the full, goldish toned adler. The rear of the helmet has a GI inscription in dark paint, “B.A.H. 1943” From a few feet away this inscription is difficult to see, given the evenness of the age patina. Overall a striking helmet, and a typical EF product showing their thicker texture paint, etc. COA accompanies.
