This helmet appears to be an early issue Quist size 62 shell, with a milky grey parade finish atop the original factory finish. There are early characteristics such as the single ply 1937 dated size 54 liner and accompanying period strap; the shields are classic CA Pocher runic and party shields. The helmet presents very well and represents an example worn by the SS-VT period troops in the early campaigns of the Third Reich. COA accompanies this sale.
